Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 350 g all-purpose flour (type 00)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g soft butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Grated zest of 1 lemon (optional, for a fresh touch)

For the cream filling:

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 4 level tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 heaping tablespoons of flour
  • 500 ml milk
